FAQs About The Cleaning Job
1. What kind of work is it?
We clean homes and condos in Toronto (Subway Lines). That’s it. Our job is to make life easier for our clients by giving them back their time and keeping their homes fresh and clean. This is hands-on work, so it’s perfect for people who genuinely enjoy cleaning and take pride in their work. This includes:
Move-out cleans for empty units (Checklist)
Deep cleans for first-time or seasonal clients (Checklist)
Routine cleans for returning clients (Checklist)
All cleans follow a standard checklist — no guesswork. We don’t do laundry, dishes, or other “maid” services. Just quality, professional house cleaning.
We are not maids, we are professional cleaners. We focus on detailed home cleaning for people who want regular upkeep or one-time deep cleans. We don’t do laundry, ironing, cooking, walking dogs, or anything else typically expected of a “maid”, just high-quality cleaning.
We take pride in what we do. We clean professionally, wear uniforms, and use great tools to do the job right. Our team takes ownership and sees the value in the work. If you’re someone who likes to see the results of your effort and enjoys making spaces shine, this job is for you.
2. What’s the schedule like?
Work hours are usually 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Some days you’ll finish early (e.g. 4 PM), others a bit later — it depends on your efficiency
Saturdays are optional based on your availability
This can be a full-time role for most, but part-time options are available (like one cleaning a day)
Most staff work 30 to 40 hours per week. This isn’t a side hustle. it’s a steady, full schedule
3. How many cleans per day?
You’ll do a maximum of 2 cleans per day
For full time employees, morning cleans must be finished by 1 PM, so efficiency matters
We don’t expect you to be fast on day one, but you must be a hard worker and results-driven
We will train you on how to clean efficiently and thoroughly using our checklist system
4. How do I get to my jobs?
You are responsible for getting to your jobs
You must know how to navigate the city confidently using Google Maps, and TTC
If you have two cleans in one day and they are far apart, we will Uber you between them
You are paid for transport time between jobs
5. Do I need to bring supplies?
We provide you with a fully stocked cleaning cart to start
It is your responsibility to maintain the cart and restock supplies when they run out
If something runs out, buy what you need, keep the receipt, and we will pay you back
The cart must always be ready to go — clean, stocked, and organized
6. Do I need experience?
We train you on how to clean properly, how to use the checklist, and how to meet our quality standards
If you’ve cleaned before, its an asset — just be ready to learn our system
7. How does pay work?
You are paid biweekly, on the 15th and 30th of every month
Your starting pay is hourly, based on experience
If you perform well, you’ll start getting routine clients — returning clients who want you regularly
Routine clients’ homes are easier to clean over time, and you’ll get a flat pay per clean (not hourly)
Example: You’re assigned $100 for a clean. If you finish in 2 hours, you still earn $100
You also get tips, and we offer bonuses for consistent quality and performance
8. What kind of person are you looking for?
Punctual and reliable
Detail-oriented and hardworking
Comfortable with flexible hours
Positive and respectful with clients and team members
Able to learn, take feedback, and improve quickly
9. Do I need to be legally able to work in Canada?
Yes. This is a payroll job — not cash.
You need a valid SIN number and work permit to be hired.
